Olvera Street is home to many events celebrating Catcholic culture and beliefs. One of the major events brings four- legged friends and many other
animal species out to receive their annual blessing. Among the traditonal practices, Olvera Street is home to many puestos (stands) resembling
outdoor mercados (flea markets) from earlier times. These puestos sell anything from traditonal mexican food, candy, and mexican style goodies.
“Cielito Lindo” translates to beautiful sky, sells its world famous taquitos covered in avocaodo salsa which always draws long lines.
