Julio De La Hoya was born and raised in Norwalk, California. Since growing up, Julio has always been into storytelling in all kinds of media. He fell in love with movies, video games, and television at nine years old. As a kid, he would make short films using an iPad, and he still makes short films from time to time using a camera. As the youngest in his family, Julio has always tried to make himself useful and help the people who raised him to be the man he is today. He is pursuing a major in mass communication in hopes of working behind the scenes in any type of media. Julio considers news and journalism to be necessary and important for everyday people. Julio is spending his last semester at Rio Hondo using his time, resources, and skills to provide people with information that is valuable and important to them.
